Sanita Reinsone
I am a researcher in the field of humanities with a deep interest in digital humanities, digital cultural heritage, citizen science and participatory research methods. I am also involved in the study of folk narratives, life-writing traditions, and oral history. In addition to my research work, I am also an author of children's literature.

Since December 1, 2024, I hold a tenure-track position as an associate professor at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Latvia. Previously, I was affiliated with the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia where I led a DH Group and served as a senior researcher at the Archives of Latvian Folklore. Alongside my research, I taught in the master's program in Digital Humanities at Riga Technical University and the PhD program in Cultural Studies at the University of Latvia.
